Past Winners, Present Cause and Future Impact of the Lou Gramm Foundation

Since its founding, the Lou Gramm Foundation has proudly supported aspiring musicians and songwriters through a variety of initiatives, including: college-level music education scholarships, recording grants, and mentorship opportunities. Since our inception, we've had the honor of watching many of our grant recipients go on to record and release original music, perform on stage, and pursue their passion in the music industry. Their achievements continue to affirm our belief that with the right support, passion and talent can be supported with the help of focused initiatives like ours.

Today, the Lou Gramm Foundation is more active than ever with a strong focus on music education, and helping aspiring music industry professionals to launch their careers. Our fundraising efforts through direct donations and our Lou Gramm Foundation VIP experiences have allowed us to grow in leaps and bounds, and we have been fortunate to have met new collaborators along the way.  

We are proud to be partnering with the prestigious Berklee College of Music with our first annual Lou Gramm Foundation Songwriter’s grant!  Berklee has a long history of fostering great musicians with a reputation for excellence and we couldn’t be happier to work with them.  This year we were also overjoyed to have been a part of the Hoochenanny Music Festival for their very first event, working with other non-profits to fundraise for our respective causes in the name of music. 

As we increase our reach, we continue to strive to support young artists in real time but also build a stronger, more connected musical community across the United States. Whether it’s a songwriting grant or a shining a spotlight on new music from an emerging talent, we're committed to empowering the next generation of artists with every opportunity.  

 

Looking ahead, we’re excited to expand our impact in new and meaningful ways. In the coming years, we plan to broaden our reach nationally with increased scholarship programs with our esteemed partners, as well as develop a recording and mentorship program for partnering young musicians with legendary musicians and producers, to  pioneer a collaborative effort for the bigger picture of making great music. We envision the Lou Gramm Foundation becoming a compassionate aid and powerful resource for aspiring artists which we could not do without your generous support. The best is yet to come.
